Spring, Texas is an unincorporated area located along I-45, about 20 miles north of Houston that is situated mainly in Northwest Harris County but extends to the southern boundary of The Woodlands in Montgomery County. It is close enough to Houston to be able to enjoy the amenities but far enough away to still feel like you are in the country. It is also very accessible to the amenities of the Woodlands.
The area has many fine golf course communities. Augusta Pines, Gleannloch Farms, Windrose, and Northampton are all fine golf course communities in the Spring area. This area is known for it's diverse restaurants, numerous parks and golf courses, health care facilities, an abundance of shopping, and quick access to Bush Intercontinental Airport. All of this and Spring, Texas Homes are affordable.

Klein Independent School District
Klein Independent School District, encompassing 87.5 square miles, is located in the Spring, Texas area. Its southern portion is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Houston. Most of the district is located between Interstate Highway 45 (I45) on the east and State Highway 249 (SH 249) on the west. The southern boundry and follows Cypress Creek for a distance and the northern boundary is the same as the northern boundary of Harris County.The District is comprised of fourhigh schools,nine intermediate schools, and 26 elementary schools for a total of 39 schools.
Spring Independent School District
The Spring Independent School District serves over 32,000 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students in a diverse and growing district located 20 miles north of downtown Houston in a suburban area of Harris County that spans 57 square miles.
The District has a total of 31 campuses, which includes three high schools, a high-school career academy, a ninth-grade center, six 6th-8th grade middle schools, one pre-kindergarten through second-grade primary school, one 3rd-5th grade intermediate school, and 18 prekindergarten through fifth-grade elementary schools.
Spring ISD's student-to-teacher ratio is 22 to 1 for pre-kindergarten through fourth grade and 25 to 1 for 5th-12th grades. The District offers half-day pre-kindergarten classes for qualified four-year olds, full-day kindergarten, bilingual and English as a Second Language programs, gifted and talented programs and honors and Advanced Placement.

Old Town Spring - This wonderful old turn-of-the-century town was originally built as a railroad town. Now the quaint buildings have been turned into around 150 wonderful shops that offer anything from clothing, antiques, furniture, crafts, jewelry, art, gifts and much more!
